How To Marry A Celebrity – Online
Halle Berry and Charlie Sheen have done it. Orlando Bloom attempted it and Danni Minogue wants to try it. Online dating was once regarded as only suitable for the desperate but it has become so socially acceptable that even celebrities are taking to the Internet in an attempt to find true love.
One would think that celebrities generally should have no trouble finding a date, let alone love. However, Kathie Duliakis, who runs the dating site Eligiblemag.com which boasts famous people on its website, told Australian magazine New Idea: ‘When stars meet new people, they often have the burden of wondering if the person is truly interested in them or the fact they’re in a blockbuster movie,’ she says. ‘They get a lot of unwanted attention. Now stars can anonymously seek out someone and enjoy an online conversation until they feel it’s safe to reveal their true identity.’

Handsome movie star, Orlando Bloom, certainly agreed. He put a Facebook profile under someone else’s photo and he’s looking for a wife. He reportedly said that: “It’s difficult sometimes to know whether girls like me, or the guy they see in Pirates of the Caribbean. This way I can get to know them from behind a disguise.”
Bloom thought that it was a good way to chat to his potential mates online before meeting them so that he could get to know them first. He is ready for a wife and family. “I’ve had a crazy life in many ways,” he’s said, “and I realize now I want to share it with.”
Charlie Sheen is another male star who reportedly tried online dating, but he later met his girlfriend through a mutual friend. Sheen, who has a reputation as a philanderer, is supposed to have put his profile up on Millionaire.com, a site which mixes beautiful women with ‘sugar daddies’.
